Is Victron worth the extra money?
If you want to program charge profiles, monitor everything from your phone, or might expand later, yes. For straightforward off-grid use, Renogy REGO does the job for less. Both charge LiFePO4 correctly.
Can I run a microwave on a 2000W unit?
Usually yes for a ~900–1000W microwave if nothing else big is running, but the startup surge can trip a weak unit. For regular microwave use, step up to 3000W.
Do I still need a separate converter?
No — the inverter charger replaces your shore-power converter/charger. You may still want a battery monitor for a clean state-of-charge readout.
